Post mortem to be carried out after young man's body found near mill pond in Maidstone

A post mortem is scheduled after man's body was found in woodland in Tovil near Maidstone at the weekend.



The body of a man believed to be aged in his twenties was found in Crisbrook Meadow near a mill pond at 7.15am on Sunday 7 May 2017.

The cause of the death is currently unexplained and being investigated. A post mortem examination is scheduled for Tuesday 9 May 2017 which will help to determine the cause of death and formal identification of the man.

Police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area at any time between Saturday 6 May and Sunday morning, 7 May 2017, who has information.
