accidents disasters: Appeal for dashcam footage of serious crash on M2 which saw driver airlifted to London hospital

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the M2 coastbound between Junctions 5 and 6.



The incident involved a white Mitsubishi Fuso tipper truck and a yellow DAF truck, and happened at about 6.55am on Monday 11 September 2017.

A 25-year-old man who had been driving the Mitsubishi suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a London hospital.

Both vehicles had been approaching the scene of an earlier incident in which a car had collided with the central reservation.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are carrying out enquiries and would like to hear from any witnesses including those with dashcam footage.
