Sexual assault in Canterbury - image released by detectives

Detectives investigating a report of a sexual assault in Canterbury have issued a computer-generated image of a man they want to identify.



The incident occurred in a park near to St Stephen’s Road at approximately 7pm on Saturday 26 August 2017.

A man is reported to have approached a woman in her 20s whilst she was walking through the park and asked her for the time. He then allegedly leaned forward and touched her inappropriately above her clothing.

The victim walked away and has now been able to provide officers with description of the suspect.

He is described as black, of slim build and in his late teens with short dark hair and wearing ripped jeans and a blue shirt.

Officers investigating the incident are keen to speak to anyone with information about the alleged offence or the identity of the suspect.
