Man in court over Dover village burglary in Elms Hill

Officers investigating a burglary at a house in Elms Hill, Hougham, have charged a man.

The 26-year-old of no fixed address, was arrested by officers from Dover Community Policing Team in Bench Street, Dover, on Saturday 14 April 2018.


Remanded in custody

The man has been charged with stealing a laptop and charger, a bag, three bottles of whisky, a dog toy and aromatherapy bottles from the house in Hougham on Thursday 12 April 2018.

He appeared before Medway magistrates via virtual court on Monday 16 April 2018 and was remanded in custody to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 14 May 2018.
