Two arrests after man is treated in hospital for serious facial injury following Canterbury city centre assault

Officers investigating a report of an assault in Canterbury are appealing for witnesses to come forward.


Two men have been arrested after officers were called to a report of an assault in The Borough in the city centre at 12.28am on Wednesday 8 August 2018.

A man in his 40s suffered several injuries including a serious facial injury, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

A 22-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, both of no fixed address, currently remain in custody while enquiries are ongoing.
