More than 150 cannabis plants have been seized from a property in Westgate-on-Sea.

Officers from the Thanet Community Policing Team sniffed out the cultivation during a routine patrol in Ethelbert Terrace on the evening of Wednesday 6 November 2019 and seized the plants overnight.

In addition to the 154 plants, officers also uncovered evidence to suggest an electricity meter had been bypassed and the scene was made safe by a utility company.

At present no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
