Top name perfumes stolen in burglary at Debenhams in Folkestone

An appeal for information has been launched by officers investigating the theft of perfumes from Debenhams department store in Folkestone.

It was reported that shortly before 4am on Monday 4 March 2019 a burglary took place in Debenhams in Sandgate Road.

Fragrances including Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs, Lacoste, Chloe and Victor Rolf were reported stolen.

Damage to the doors was also caused during the burglary.

PC Scott Norman of Kent Police said: ‘We would like to speak to anyone who may have information about the burglary.

'We would also ask people to be mindful if they are offered perfume for sale in what they might think is a suspicious situation, to report it to us on 01843 222289 quoting 46/41051/19. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers in Kent, anonymously on 0800 555111.'
