Man, 69 to appear at Canterbury Crown Court following Shooters Hill stabbing in Dover

The suspect of an assault at Shooters Hill in Dover, where a man suffered a stab wound to his leg, has appeared in court.

Kent Police was called to a disturbance at a residential property in Dover at around 6.40pm on Wednesday 17 July 2019.

Officers arrived at the address where a man in his 30s was found suffering a stab wound to his leg. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

A 69-year-old man was arrested at the scene.

On Thursday 18 July 2019 the man was charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and appeared at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday 19 July 2019.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 19 August 2019.
