Man charged after perfume seized from Hythe property

A suspected burglar has been charged after officers seized a bag of perfume at a property in Hythe.

On Wednesday 7 August 2019 Boots, on Hythe High Street was broken into at around 4am where bottles of fragrances were reported stolen.

Police arrested a 52-year-old man of Dymchurch Road in the town at around 5am that day and discovered a bag of suspected stolen perfume after searching a property.

The man was charged with burglary on 7 August and has been released until his next court appearance at Folkestone Magistrates' Court on 21 August 2019.
