Man in 50s allegedly assaulted with broken bottle in Livingstone Road, Gillingham

Witnesses to an assault in which a broken bottle was allegedly used are being asked to come forward.


Kent Police was called at 11.10pm on Saturday 10 August 2019 to a report of a disturbance in Livingstone Road, Gillingham.

Officers arrived and a man in his 50s was taken to hospital after he was reportedly assaulted with a broken glass bottle.

He has since been discharged from hospital.

The suspect, who is believed to be known to the victim, had left the scene prior to police arrival. There have been no arrests.


Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident are ongoing.
