Kent Police appeal after man is flown to hospital following alleyway 'stabbing'

Witnesses are being sought following a serious assault. The incident is reported to have taken place in an alleyway which joins Thorold Road and Luton Road, Chatham between 4.30pm and 5.10pm on Friday 27 March 2020.

During the disturbance a 47-year-old man from the Chatham area suffered an injury to his stomach consistent with a stab wound. He was taken by air ambulance to a London hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers have since carried out a number of enquiries and would like to hear from any witnesses who are yet to make contact.
