Enquiries in the area have led officers to identify a CCTV image, shown above, of a man who may have important information.

Investigating officer, Police Sergeant James Page said: ‘Staff at any supermarket should be able to complete their work without suffering abuse and threats from visitors.

‘We are now issuing a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist us with our enquiries. While the image is blurred, we are hoping that somebody will recognise this person and contact us.’

Anyone who recognises him is asked to call Kent Police on 01622 604100, quoting crime reference 46/71369/20.
