Dover Museum is getting into the festive spirit with special Christmas ideas for unique seasonal gifts and a family fun day to make unusual Christmas tree decorations from around the world.

The festive fun day runs from 10am to 4.30pm this Saturday (11 December). Visitors of all ages are invited to try their hand at making seasonal decorations from around the world, ranging from Swedish Christmas tree decorations to Chinese lanterns, and visitors can take home anything they make.

The Museum Shop also stocks a wide range of Christmas gifts to suit all ages from perfumed candles to traditional wooden toys. They also stock a wide range of pocket money priced items and unusual stocking fillers.

Dover Museum and the award winning Bronze Age Boat Gallery are open for visitors during normal hours throughout the Christmas holiday period (Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5.30pm) but are closed all day Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
