Top cricket comes to Folkestone on Saturday 3 September and Sunday 4 September when teams from Belgium, Holland, Germany and France will be battling it out to take on a Kent select side in a 40/40 final.

The two-day European Cricket Challenge at Cheriton Road Sports Ground, Folkestone, will bring together senior teams from across the continent who will play a series of 20/20 matches to decide who takes on the Kent side.

Three senior matches will be played on Saturday with the semi-finals and finals taking place on Sunday.

Youngsters from local cricket clubs will also be in the spotlight, playing a series of Kwik Cricket matches for the Trafalgar Cup.

The two-day festival is being organised by Discover Folkestone, Hythe and Romney Marsh and is supported by Eurotunnel.

Entry to the ground is £3.50 for adults and is free for children. Car parking within the ground costs £5.
