Crime: Police appealing for witnesses to alleged stabbing at Kent music festival

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to a stabbing reported at a music festival last weekend.


The incident was alleged to have occurred on Saturday 11 March 2017 between 10pm and 10.30pm at a music festival in Detling Showground.

The victim, a man aged in his twenties, was just leaving the venue when another man, who was not known to the victim, is reported to have stabbed him in the arm.

He was treated at the scene and attended hospital the next day for further treatment.

The suspect is described as tall and wearing a black body warmer.


He is also described as being tanned with slicked black hair and was shouting at the victim repeatedly calling him ‘Nick’, which is not the victim’s name.
