Police launch murder investigation after post mortem on man found dead at Tovil, Maidstone

Officers investigating the death of a man in Tovil, Maidstone, are treating the incident as murder following the results of a post mortem.

 



Homeless man, Razvan Sirbu, 21, was found dead on Sunday 7 May 2017 in the Loose Valley Conservation area at 7.15am.

Results from a post mortem examination reveal that he died from blunt force trauma to the head and body.

As part of the investigation a photograph of the victim, (below)  has been provided by the family to appeal to anyone who may have seen Razvan Sirbu or was in the area between 4pm on Saturday 6 May and 7am on Sunday 7 May 2017.


Officers are carrying out inquiries into the incident and no arrests have yet been made.
