25-year-old receives hospital treatment after injury following altercation with four men at The Stade in Folkestone

Kent Police is appealing for witnesses after a 25-year-old man was reportedly assaulted in Folkestone on Thursday 18 May 2017.


The victim was sitting on a bench in The Stade between 12.30am and 1.30am when he was approached by four men.

During an alleged altercation he suffered an injury to his shoulder and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The injury is not considered to be life-threatening.

The four men are described as 5ft 9in tall.

One of the men is described as white, unshaven and aged between 25 and 30 years old.

He wore a light blue hooded top, spoke with a local accent and had a gold stud in his right ear.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about the attack or the identity of the offenders.
