Police investigate after man in 60s discovered with serious head injury in Dover underpass

Enquiries are being carried out in Dover after a man was found with a serious head injury. 



On Wednesday 13 March 2019 just before 1am Kent Police received a call stating the man, in his 60s, was in the underpass in Biggin Street awaiting medical assistance.

Officers attended the scene where the victim was taken to a local hospital, he remains there in a serious condition.



Arrest
 

A 36-year-old man was arrested nearby in connection with the incident and is assisting officers with their enquiries.

 

Meanwhile CCTV is being reviewed and anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to call Kent Police.
