Kent Police launch investigation after man suffers suspected stab wounds in Deal assault

Detectives investigating a reported assault in Deal are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The incident happened in South Street, near the junction with Middle Street, shortly before 2.30am on Saturday 25 January 2020.


It was reported that two men had a confrontation in the street resulting in one, aged in his 20s, suffering injuries consistent with being stabbed.

He was taken to a local hospital for treatment but has since been discharged.

Enquiries to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and to identify the person responsible are ongoing.
