Police appeal for information after vicious street assault in Canterbury

Kent Police is appealing for information after a man was assaulted in Canterbury.

The incident happened in Abbots Barton Walk, near Old Dover Road, between 3pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday 17 March 2020.

A man in his late teens reported that he was punched by another teenager and suffered facial injuries.


The suspect is described as white, with blonde hair, around 6ft 3in tall, of medium build and 16 to 18 years old. He was wearing blue jeans and a black jacket.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage of those involved is urged to call Kent Police on 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/50435/20.
