Nearly 50 hardy souls slept under the stars in shelters they had made from cardboard and polythene for the annual Big Sleep Out to raise money for the Rainbow Centre in Folkestone.

The 4th Canterbury Bike Ride was a huge success on Sunday 24th September, with over 400 registered cyclists enjoying the beautiful weather while raising more than £8,000 for local charities.

Nearly a thousand participants completed the Subway Helping Hearts™ Family 5K Fun Run event in Maidstone on Saturday to raise money for the Heart Research UK and Subway® Healthy Heart grant scheme.
