‘Stay safe on the roads this autumn’ is the latest advice being issued by Kent Police following a  review of the latest statistics on the number of people killed or seriously injured in the county over the previous 6 months.

Residents in the county are being reminded of their responsibility to make sure vegetation on their land does not obscure signs, block visibility at junctions, or reduce the width and height of pavements or roads.


Victory for campaigners after Eurotunnel street lights near Folkestone saved from KCC switch-off

Following a meeting with KCC Highways engineers, Sandgate Parish Councillor Tim Prater has been promised that streetlights at the A20 Eurotunnel service entrance near J12 of the M20 will be removed from light turn-off plans.
