8.45pm: The county's roads are experiencing instances of very heavy traffic brought on by the heavy snowfall around Kent.

After more than 100 cars were left abandoned between Churchill Avenue in Folkestone and Hawkinge this evening (11 March), KCC have upgraded their emergency status from Amber to Black.
