Following the Town Centre Xmas Lights being switched on last week it was now the time for the festive illuminations in the Old High Street Creative Quarter of Folkestone.
Normally these would have been launched at the start of the Book Festival by a leading author, but of course this could not happen this year.
The lights this year are a sparkling gold and silver style weaving from the top to near the bottom of the street and with some shops sporting their own selections.
It is hoped next year’s lights will be back to normal and with the shops open fully.
