Witnesses are being urged to come forward after a man reported being robbed in Chatham.

The incident took place on Friday 25 June 2021 at around 10.30pm in Charter Street where the victim, in his 40s, was assaulted by another man.

The suspect is described as black and was seen wearing a grey tracksuit and light blue jumper. He is reported to have fled from the scene with the victim’s cash.

Enquiries are ongoing in the area to locate the person responsible, which includes house-to-house calls and the review of all forensic and CCTV opportunities.
