A third man has been charged as part of an investigation into drug dealing in Ashford.

A 28-year-old man from Cranbrook, was charged on 14 July 2021 with conspiracy to supply heroin and conspiracy to supply cocaine between the dates of 29 May and 10 June in Ashford.

The charges follow an investigation by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad after a vehicle was stopped across the Sussex border in Winchelsea on 10 June and quantities of Class A drugs were seized.

Two men, a 50-year-old and 52-year-old, both of Chilmington Green in Ashford, were previously charged in connection with the investigation on 11 June.

All three men remain in custody and are due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on 17 September.
