A search warrant executed at a Maidstone business has resulted in the seizure of around 450 cannabis plants.

On Friday 1 October 2021, officers from the town’s Community Policing team executed a search warrant at premises in Sandling Road.

Approximately, 450 suspected cannabis plants, many of which were fully grown, were seized in four separate rooms along with cultivation equipment.

Arrests

A 33-year-old local man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of cultivating cannabis. Two further men, aged 31, were arrested at another town centre address in connection with the same offence.

All three men have been released pending further investigation.
