Notices have been placed by Kent County Council to the effect that Cheriton Library, on Cheriton High Street, is to be closed for a major refit during January and February 2022.
The library, which covers the whole of the upper floor of the building, will be closed from Monday, January 10th to Saturday, 19th February. It is due to re-open on Monday 21 February. Library-goers will need to visit the other venues in the district during the closure.
Sadly, during the refurbishment it is thought that the animal pictures on the walls of one section of the Library will be removed to provide a more modern look with new seating.
