Officers investigating thefts from cars in Medway have arrested a man.
Kent Police received multiple reports of criminal damage and theft on Wednesday 26 January 2022.
Windows were smashed and steering wheels were reported stolen from a number of vehicles parked in streets including Hazel Drive, Streetend Road, Lester Road, Dale Street, Churchill Avenue and Hazel Road in Chatham along with Warren Wood Road in Rochester.
Following a number of enquiries, including the review of CCTV, officers detained a 28-year-old man from Essex in connection with the thefts on the evening of 26 January. Enquiries remain ongoing.
