Kent children’s charity Tree of Hope is holding its summer fair at Tonbridge Castle on June 25, from 12 noon to 4pm.

There will be around 35 stalls run by local, independent businesses selling a variety of gifts and produce, as well as several food stalls, music and children’s entertainment. Stall holders will include GoGoosey, Bubbly Books, Surrey Ices, Sudzz UK, Saddle Up Bar and Sommi Pizzas.

Supporting Paws, a local charity which trains assistance dogs and is a regular partner of Tree of Hope, will also be bringing along some of their dogs, plus there’ll be a team from local radio KMFM playing music and doing some live links.

Tree of Hope helps families fundraise for children with healthcare needs and provides charity status to benefit from gift aid, corporate support whilst also providing donor reassurance.

This year the charity is celebrating its 30th birthday. It was founded in 1992 by Corinne Gardner who lived in Bexhill on Sea to help raise funds for children who need treatment and services not easily available on the NHS.

From very humble beginnings, Tree of Hope Children’s Charity is now on a journey of growth and a mission to support as many seriously ill and disabled children as possible, across the UK. With a funding gap of £1.5 billion across children’s healthcare, Tree of Hope helps to bridge that funding gap by helping families access what they need to help their children thrive.

Tree of Hope CEO Gill Gibb said: ‘The summer fair is always great fun and we hope as many people as possible will come along to help us raise funds for important treatment, therapy and equipment for children all over the UK.’

Entry to the fair is free of charge. If you would like to enquire about booking a place for a stall, please contact karen.warner@treeofhope.org.uk
