Summer festivals are arriving in Kent on Sunday July 3rd in Folkestone and on Saturday July 9th in Ashford 12 – 8pm 

July 3rd Festival includes:

  • Tsungai Tsikirai ( Zimbabwean music), 
  • Nepalese traditional dance and music,  
  • Romany Diamonds (Roma/Balkan music and dance), 
  • Damascus Band with musicians from the Orchestra of Syrian musicians,
  • Ash Mukherjee (Indian dance),
  • Sinman Dance Company (traditional Chinese music and dance), 
  •  Nepalese popular band,
  • Tai-Chi demonstration, Bollywood dancing workshop
  • Book on Eventbrite for a full schedule and to win a free food voucher or some wine.
  • July 9th festival includes: Jugnu Bhangra dhol drummers,
  • U’zambezi (south African music and dance),
  • Ash Mukherjee (Indian dance),
  • Counterpoint Dance Company (London), 
  • Sinman Dance Company (Chinese music and dance),
  • traditional Kathak dances from India, 
  • Romany Diamonds ( Roma/ Balkan music), 
  • Muntu Valdo (African music),
  • aTai-Chi demonstration, Roma dance and African drumming workshops

Free entry and there will be food stalls and arts and crafts stalls and activities for all ages.  All donations are most welcome and would contribute towards performers’ fees.  If you would like to make a pledge please go to World in a Tent Festival to pledge any amount.
