Police are looking to identify a man, pictured below, in connection with the theft of a bank card from a pensioner in Tunbridge Wells.

It is alleged the card was stolen while the victim was using a cash machine in Calverley Road, at around 12.45pm on 16 June 2022.

As he was making a withdrawal, the victim was suddenly approached by two women who tried to show him a map and got very close to him. The women are reported to have been speaking in a foreign language, possibly German.

Aged in his 70s, the victim later noticed his bank card was missing and checks established it had been used to make more than 90 fraudulent online transactions. The card was also used in a several areas of Kent, including Sevenoaks, as well as other parts of the country.

Officers now believe the man pictured may have important information and are asking anyone who may recognise him to contact them.
