Three men are to appear in court charged in connection with a serious assault in Dover.

In the early hours of Friday 8 July 2022, Kent Police was called to Folkestone Road after a report by CCTV operators that  a man in his 30s had been assaulted following an altercation. The victim sustained serious injuries which needed hospital treatment.

An investigation by the Dover Victim Based Crime Team has resulted in three men being charged.

Twenty-two year old Mason Green, 22-year-old Bradley Green and 36-year-old Roger Porter, all of Folkestone Road, Dover, were each charged with causing grievous bodily harm. Bradley Green was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon (traffic cone).

They were charged on Saturday 9 July and appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court the same day where they were remanded in custody. The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 8 August.
