On Wednesday 13 July between 11.10pm and 11.30pm it was reported that a man in his 30s, was sitting at a table at a pub on White Horse Lane, when he was approached by two men.

An argument ensued and the man was assaulted and sustained multiple injuries to his head.

Following this incident two 18-year-old men, both from Canterbury, were arrested on suspicion of assault and possession with intent to supply. They have since been released on bail while the investigation continues.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at the time of the attack.
