Kent Police is appealing for information after an off-duty police officer was stabbed in Rochester.
The officer was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries following the assault, which took place in the High Street during the early hours of Monday 18 July 2022.
It is reported that the victim had been visiting a takeaway in Commercial Road prior to the incident, where the suspect was involved in a verbal altercation.
Officers continue to search for the person responsible. Anyone who witnessed the assault or has information is urged to call 01634 792209, quoting reference 18-0075.
