A man and a woman have been charged after alleged supplies of cocaine and cannabis were seized from a property near Dartford.
Various quantities of the drugs were recovered by police from the address on Monday 9 January 2023, including a bulk amount of suspected cocaine found in a kitchen cupboard estimated to weigh around 200 grams.
Harry Bishop, 26, from Ebbsfleet Valley was arrested and later charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply drugs (cocaine and cannabis). Claire Brown, 26 and of the same address was also detained. She was charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
Mr Bishop is also under investigation in connection with a separate incident last year. It is alleged that on 19 April 2022, a vehicle failed to stop for police in the Medway area and later collided with a police car and a private property in Rochester.
He was charged with a further two counts of possessing drugs with intent to supply, aggravated taking of a motor vehicle without consent, dangerous driving and criminal damage. He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 10 January and was remanded in custody. His next hearing will be at Maidstone Crown Court on 7 February.
Claire Brown was bailed to appear at the same court on 9 February.
