It’s been reported that two men stole a black and orange KTM Duke Bike from outside J&S Accessories in Lower Boxley Road, on Tuesday 20 December 2022, between 4pm and 4.30pm.

The men entered the store and spoke to staff.

It is alleged that, on leaving, the suspects broke the steering lock on the motorcycle and led it away side by side with another bike, which they used to push it.

The suspects reportedly headed off in the direction of The Kent History and Library Centre and the Gallagher Stadium but police say they may have taken side roads on the way.

One man is described as a slim, black teenager with dreadlocks, who wore a bandana halfway over his face. The other is a medium-built, short-haired, white man in his early 20s, who was wearing a blue, Canada Goose parker coat at the time.

The bike has an OV20 plate.

PC Oliver English said:

‘Following initial enquiries, the bike is yet to be recovered and we are keen to identify the two males involved.‘
