A suspected burglar has been charged after jewellery was stolen at a Hildenborough property.
Between 20 and 22 November 2022, a house in Riding Lane was targeted whilst the owner was away.
On their return, the victim contacted the police to report a quantity of jewellery had been stolen following an untidy search of the premises.
Following an investigation by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad, a man was arrested at his home address on Thursday 19 January 2023.
The man from Enfield, Greater London was later charged with burglary.
The 28-year-old appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court where he was remanded to a hearing at Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
