Information is wanted after a man was assaulted during a robbery in Ashford.

The incident took place between 3pm and 3.30pm on Wednesday 25 January 2023 in Osbourne Road, Willesborough.

A man, a woman and two children were riding bicycles when the man was approached and assaulted by a number of people on mopeds and a quadbike. The victim’s mobile phone was stolen during the incident and his bicycle was also damaged.

The offenders were then seen leaving in the direction of Hunter Avenue.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Sophia Lateu said: ‘This robbery took place on a busy road at a time of day when parents would have been collecting their children from school. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage taken in that area at the time of the robbery is urged to contact us.’
