A man will appear before court following break-ins at more than 10 properties including a charity, in rural areas near Maidstone and Sittingbourne.

The alleged offences occurred between 30 September and 7 November 2021. Items stolen included power tools, bicycles, quad bikes, as well as valuable machinery including a John Deere lawnmower.

A 36-year-old man Sittingbourne, was arrested in a vehicle on the A2 after a short pursuit involving the police helicopter, on 7 November.

Following enquiries by the Maidstone Victim Based Crime Team, Mr King was charged with more than 20 offences including six counts of theft, four counts of criminal damage, and twelve counts of burglary.

The suspect is bailed to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on 14 March 2023.
