Firefighters have been tackling a large haystack fire in the Lydden Hill area, near Dover since around 11pm on Saturday night, 18 March.

There are currently two fire engines along with specialist equipment from the technical rescue team including a telehandler working to break up the haystack and extinguish the flames.

People living near Lydden village are urged to close windows and doors due to a smoke plume which could affect the village.
