My Community Hub has warned of courier fraudsters who have recently targeted residents across Kent, especially those living in the East of the County.

Fortunately, most people have realized that the caller is not the police but a criminal. It’s important that people continue to share these alerts with family and friends.

Please remember that the police will never call you and ask you to withdraw money from your bank account to be collected by a courier to assist in an investigation. They will also never ask you to collect your bank cards by a courier for the same reason.

If you think that you may have been a victim of this or any other type of scam, then contact your Bank immediately, which you can do by calling 159 and report it to Action Fraud at www.actionfraud.police.uk or call 0300 123 2040.
