The Kent Crime Squad has charged two 17-year-old boys with a string of phone thefts across the county.
The pair, who cannot be identified because of their age, are accused of three robberies; one in Gravesend and one in Rochester on 6 July, and another in Aylesham on 9 July.
They also face a charge of attempted robbery for another incident in Rochester on the same day.
The victims were allegedly confronted and coerced to give up their phones with threats of violence. In the last case, a bank card and a watch were also taken.
The two boys appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on 11 July and were released on bail. They will attend separate youth courts in Margate and Coventry on 8 and 17 August respectively.
