Kent County Council (KCC) wants to hear your opinions on the updated plans to make a safer and direct route for pedestrians and cyclists, along the B2064 Cheriton Road, from near the B2063 Risborough Lane to Radnor Park.

They have taken into account the previous feedback and scrapped plans to shut down Stanley Road, remove parking spaces and cut trees.

Instead, they propose to introduce a 20mph zone between Ashley Avenue and Coombe Road, a new cycle path between Cherry Garden Avenue and Radnor Park and enhance the safety of the Cherry Garden Avenue and Cheriton Road traffic signal junction.

Visit www.kent.gov.uk/cheritonat to see the scheme design and fill out the questionnaire to give your feedback by Tuesday 1st August.

If you have any questions or require any of the consultation material in hard copy, please email: ActiveTravel@kent.gov.uk or telephone: 03000 41 81 81. Please use the reference ‘Cheriton Road Active Travel Consultation’.

For alternative formats and languages, please email alternativeformats@kent.gov.uk or call 03000 42 15 53 (text relay service number: 18001 03000 42 15 53). This number goes to an answering machine, which is monitored during office hours.
