Investigators are appealing for dashcam footage following a suspicious incident on the Medway Gate estate in Strood.
It is reported to have involved two men and a woman at around 10.15pm on Thursday 7 December 2023 at Butler’s Park Way.
Residents state there was an fracas involving the group and the woman may have been assaulted, before all three got into a car and it drove off from the estate.
Officers have been completing enquiries into the incident including the examination of CCTV in the area. They are now appealing to motorists with dashcam, who drove along Butler’s Park Way between 9pm on Thursday 7 December and midday on Friday 8 December, to contact them.
Detective Inspector Beverley Morrison said:
‘We are investigating this report as there is a concern for the welfare of the woman who appeared upset. We are keeping an open mind as to what happened and are keen to speak to motorists with dashcam, including residents and delivery drivers, as the footage they have may contain vital information.’
