Kent Police officers investigating a spate thefts of high-value cars left in car parks in the Sevenoaks area, have charged a suspect.
Between 31 October 2023 and 21 January 2024, the owners of three Range Rovers and a Land Rover Discovery reported their cars had been stolen.
The thefts were committed while the vehicles were unattended at car parks in the Sevenoaks and Hildenborough areas. An investigation by the Tonbridge Victim Based Crime Team led to the arrest of a suspect on Friday 10 May.
A 28-year-old man from Sevenoaks, was later charged with four counts of car theft and was additionally charged with stealing a motorbike from Sevenoaks on 22 January. He was remanded in custody to appear before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 May.
