In a rapid response to an attempted burglary at Leybourne Lakes, police arrested three suspects near Snodland within ten minutes. Officers seized balaclavas and an angle grinder during the operation.
The incident occurred around 1.50am on Saturday, 7 September 2024, when police were alerted to suspicious activity near a bike shed. By 2am, patrols had apprehended the suspects and confiscated a moped linked to the crime.
The suspects, two men aged 19 and 21, and a 16-year-old boy, are currently out on bail with conditions, pending further investigation.
