Collision investigators are appealing for witnesses following the death of a motorcyclist on the M25 motorway.

The incident was reported to Kent Police just before 12.30pm on Thursday 26 September 2024.

It happened on the clockwise carriageway between junction 5 (for the A21 and M26) and the Clacket Lane Services before junction 6.

Three vehicles were involved, a blue Suzuki motorcycle, a silver Toyota Corolla and a lorry which had a white cab and a blue curtain sided trailer, with yellow sign writing.

Patrols and ambulance crews attended and the motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed. 

A lorry driver, believed to have been involved in the collision but who had left the scene, has now been located and is assisting police with their enquiries. 

Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to appeal to anyone with information to contact them. Motorists with dashcam devices are asked to check for any important footage which may assist the investigation, including of the vehicles in the moments leading up to the collision.
