Detectives investigating a fire in Canterbury have made a further arrest after Kent Police was called to the city centre on Monday 2nd December at approximately 8:45pm to assist Kent Fire and Rescue Service with a fire at a property on Guildhall Street.

As firefighters tackled the blaze, officers closed nearby roads and evacuated residents from adjacent properties.

On Wednesday 4th December, a 15-year-old boy from Ashford was arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody. Meanwhile a 15-year-old boy arrested on Tuesday 3rd December also remains in custody.
