Kent Police is investigating a series of attempted shed burglaries in the Broadstairs area.
On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, several incidents were reported:
- 4 AM: A person was seen jumping over fences in Ranelagh Grove, St Peter’s.
- 5 AM: An attempted break-in occurred at a shed in Grant Close.
- 9 PM: Another attempted break-in was reported at an outbuilding in Dane Court Gardens.
As part of their investigation, police have released a CCTV image of a person of interest.

The person police want to identify
Residents are urged to:
- Secure windows, doors, and garages.
- Activate security systems and external lighting.
- Use timer switches for lights and radios.
- Store ladders and bins out of sight.
- Secure sheds and outbuildings.
